God is Good all the time, all the time God is Good. I started work last Monday and I couldn’t be happier. It took forever it seems to land this job. But I made it. I could have given birth during the time it took me to find another job. Man! But I’m happy and definitely grateful. I want to say where I work so bad but last time people found out I worked at Kodak Gallery I was forever bugged with the “Can I get a hook up?” question. Boring! So for now, I’m not telling. If you are a blogger or site developer, you’ve defintely heard of the company employing ya girl.
Oh snap!! Kimoni and I finally moved. Wooooooot!! We were living with a friend and her son sharing a house in Marietta, GA. It was a nice house but issues with downstairs left little to be desired. Not to mention, everybody is not roommate material. So it was totally time to go. We are now happily enjoying ourselves in an over sized 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment 8 minutes from school & work. Yea buddy!! I say over sized because our living room, dining room & breakfast nook are HUGE!! That’s not even including the kitchen or patio. Our bedrooms are great sizes too. Although, I’m a little pissy that Kimoni has more closet space then I do LOL!! Jealous of a child? Yes, I admit it.
But we are really happy right now (exhale). I’m so grateful to be where I am right now. It’s been a long time since I was truly content and happy with the way life is going for me and my son. Sure there are hardships and hurdles, but man…life is good! Kimoni asked me something the other day and reminded me that only one thing was missing. He said “Have you met him yet?”. Sharp ain’t he?

Congrats on the new job and the new apartment! I have to cosign with you – God is good. 8 minutes from school & work sounds great. I am sure you will save on gas and time. It sounds much better than my 15-25 minute commute depending on traffic. :/
