Atlanta Flooded

As you all know by now, Atlanta was hit hard with rain last week into this week.  Which result in some areas being flooded and evacuated.  People are dying, losing their homes, being washed away.  Schools are submerged in water.  One school’s water is to the freaking roof!  It’s crazy!!  They’ve closed all Cobb County schools which kinda stinks for me cause Kimoni goes to a Cobb County School.  His school wasn’t even flooded but it sure is closed.  And I just realized last night that Austell, the heaviest flooded city, is 5 miles down the road from me.  I am so not in tune with my surroundings.  No wonder people keep asking if I’m okay.  Our basement was flooded a little.  We didn’t lose too much tho cause all our stuff is upstairs.  There was about an inch of water in most of the rooms downstairs but that’s about it.

This is Six Flags Over GA.  So much for Halloween Fright Night.  This is going to take months to fix.  I heard that their water reservoir for the rides & water shows flooded over too.  Once they get the water out, they have to repair all the rides and attractions.

Hopefully this will all clear up sooner then later.  It’s supposed to rain again soon.  Well, the news keeps saying that but it was bright and sunny yesterday.  It was even hot as hell.  Today looks a little gloomy.  We shall see.
